Inspirational Pocasset Private Estate Wedding

This wedding completely inspired us this year.  We worked for a long time with this bride and her parents to design a destination wedding with personal touches.

The bride, a doctor from Houston, wanted to have her wedding on Cape Cod in the Pocasset area as that is where her grandparents live and she fondly remembered her wonderful summers on Cape Cod.  We found her an amazing private beachfront estate on Wings Neck with a wonderful view.  Planning was put into motion beginning that first weekend we met with a whirlwind of vendor interviews.  Since the reception menu was very important to our couple we brought in our fabulous and favorite Newport Caterer, Blackstones Caterers to provide the delectable menu for the one hundred fifty plus guests.  Judy Fligg from All About Flowers for Weddings amazed us all with her incredible floral design including a customized chuppah for the onsite ceremony.

This event took place on Labor Day weekend and we took on the task of planning their three-day event.  Hurricane Earl quickly threw a major kink in our plans as my tent install was delayed due to pending weather. Our bride remained calm as we busily worked on altering schedules and back up rehearsal dinner plans.  With all eyes on the forecast and hoping we out of state guests would all arrive in time, we watched as the storm turned off the coast and the skies gleaned with the sun on Friday afternoon.  Thanks to Sperry Tents as their staff efficiently installed our tent with just enough time for my team to set up the rehearsal dinner for one hundred guests on Friday night.  Rentals Unlimited also moved mountains for us to get our rentals delivered as soon as the tent was up in the air!  The events went off smoothly and we all breathed a sigh of relief once our tent was adorned with the beautiful design touches our team worked so hard to complete.  We loved working with this family to help them create the wedding of their dreams.  We hope you enjoy the glimpses of their day.  Special thanks to Matt Stone Photography for capturing the true essence of this event!

Jen from Dulce Press designed amazing stationery including the invitations, save the dates, ceremony programs, and table numbers for this event.

The Bartending Service of New England provided our bars for the weekend and The Lobster Trap did an awesome job on the Clambake rehearsal dinner!
We could not have asked for better clients or better weather!
