The day was one to remember as we worked our largest wedding this season for Leah and Joe. With some rain showers the day before the wedding, the weather thankfully held out for the happy couple on their big day. All of the staff arrived bright and early to prepare and set up the tent and cocktail hour. Once the 300 plus guests arrived, they were escorted down to the ceremony at Bourne Farm, while they sipped on fresh lemonade and tried to stay cool in the heat. Once the twelve groomsmen and the groom made their way to the ceremony, a trolley escorted the beautiful bridesmaids and the stunning bride down to walk down the aisle. After a quick ceremony, the guests were invited to the cocktail hour up by the barn, while the wonderful staff from Chapin’s Catering passed around mouthwatering appetizers, including risotto balls, mini beef wellingtons, and delectable spring rolls. The bridal party stayed behind and took some pictures while food and drinks were passed around to them, as well. By the time cocktail hour was over, everyone was ready to watch the bridal party be introduced under the tent. Leah and Joe’s bridal party’s introductions were definitely one of the most exciting we have ever seen. As all 24 members and family members of the bridal party were introduced, each couple gave a little dance as they walked in the tent and one of the bride and groom’s friends grabbed a guitar from the band and started playing along to walk everyone in. With cheers, laughter, and good spirits filled the tent, it was time to kick off the night. As dinner buffet was being set up, the guests began to dance a little on the dance floor. For the rest of the night, all of the guests and the newlyweds danced and enjoyed themselves as they all celebrated the joining of the two families. We’d like to thank all of our wonderful vendors who put their all into this day: All About Flowers by Judy Fligg, Tom Davis from Studio 280 Photography and his second shooter Kate Murphy Lowenstein from KML Photography, Chapin’s Catering, Bayside Tent, Rentals Unlimited, Cape Destinations, Video by Lee, Officiant Melinda Gallant, Bruce Abbott Music, and their fabulous band Wilson Stevens Productions.
