New England Planner Road Trip

This planner was never so happy to hop in the car and do our first road trip since the whole Covid pandemic hit us.  Being a destination planner definitely has its perks!  Sometimes its planned and sometimes you encounter things that you least expect.  Wedding Venues in New England have some amazing options offering some unique spots for saying I Do!

Cape Cod Wedding Venue

Let’s start right in our backyard,  on Cape Cod, where The Perfect Plan’s story began.   In the heart of Sandwich is The Sagamore Inn Restaurant, a charming restaurant that has recently expanded to offering up its beautiful backyard space for weddings.  My visit there was welcoming. Therefore, I instantly fell in love with the garden-like vibe.  The back lawn is graced with encompassing stone walls with an inspirational fountain and shady lawn complete with a sailcloth tent provided by Sperry Tents. Hence, not everyone wants a beach wedding, so if your choice is something garden like this is for you.

One of the things I love most is that this venue is family owned and operated.  I loved meeting Peter, the son of the owners, who is the Executive Chef.  He is a  graduate of Johnson and Wales with a degree in Culinary Art and Food Service Management. His list of credentials is beyond impressive. Above all,  If you are looking for a classic Cape Cod location with the feel of a romantic garden this is your place!

In conclusion, I have always had a love for backyard weddings and The Sagamore Inn’s backyard is a dreamy spot to say I do!

Western Massachusetts Wedding Venue

We love to travel for our client’s weddings and hitting up the gorgeous countryside of Western Massachusetts really takes me back to my farm girl roots.  First stop on the journey was Turner Falls, a sleepy little town with good ole fashion charm.  Some pretty picturesque spots for elopements!

Pavilion Venue for Ceremonies- Quonquont Farm

Barn Wedding Venue
The next stop on the tour of wedding venues in New England was Quonquont Farm in Whately.  I completely fell in love with this farm and barn venue.  The expansive grounds gives multiple options for ceremonies,  in addition to the new outdoor pavilion and genuine hospitality, I cannot wait to get back there to do some weddings!  Of course, barn and rustic weddings are my favorites, and this reception barn and garden patio were amazing.  Definitely adding this to my list of great venues in New England!  Check out these gorgeous pics! Thank you toThe Salty Florist for the bridal bouquet!
